Cattle Drive

Ah, country life, country roads.

Two or three times I have bumped into one of these activities on the way to town...

Those are real cowboys and cowgirls, folks.

Just a perk from living in the authentic west.

That's pretty cool! I live in farming country too, in southern Ontario, but there is very little livestock here, and I've certainly never seen a cattle drive. Instead we are surrounded by wheat and corn and beans. We have our own excitement, though - a few days ago a huge wheat field nearby caught fire from a lightning strike and burnt to a crisp. No one was hurt!

oooh those lightning strikes... We enjoy watching a storm roll in but the aftermath is usually some fire somewhere! I'll bet you have pretty views though!

It looks like they did a good job. Must be fun to be around that from time to time. We have gotten behind the tractor a couple of times around here ourselves. One time a cow got out of the field on the busy road near here but they got him back in with the others and no one was hurt. Thank for sharing.
