Real Designer Snowflakes (and some poor imitations!)

God being the Great Designer, I thought it would be fun to try out some of His snowflake patterns!
Enlarging the snowflakes photos from here, these were traced on tracing paper, then photocopied, then cut out. For ease of cutting, and to make them "uniform" they were folded as regular paper snowflakes. In order to keep them connected, some of the pretty design had to be left out, but still it was fun to try and imitate the real thing! It looked as if some of these snowflakes were in the process of melting, anyway, so real connections may have been lost. With thinner paper, I am sure many of these could have been more intricate!

(p.s. did you know not all snowflakes are symmetrical? Give this site a look for lots of neat information about snow!)
