Cream & Calico Cottage Dress



For this Cottage Dress, I decided to do something different than adding ties, and did tabs and buttons instead.

I love this dress and the others that you picture.I always dress in long feminine skirts,but have recently been trying dresses for the first time in many years.The picture of you at the linen line is lovely,but I am interested to know why in the US you have double lines but here in the UK they are always single.

Hello Rosemary-
I don't think there is a reason...we use single lines here in the States too. And actually, the line in the photo was 5 retractable lines, which was a nifty thing we found at the hardware store to screw to the house wall. I can dry many loads of laundry, and it is especially nice for bedding.
